Meet Boris R. Meleshinsky – Founder of Platinum Motors
Boris R. Meleshinsky immigrated to the United States from the former USSR with his immediate family, settling in San Francisco, California. While attending middle and high school in the city, Boris discovered his lifelong passion for cars. Unlike many of his peers who pursued careers in law, medicine, or technology, Boris knew his path was in the automotive world.
He began his journey in the car business as a sales consultant at Acura of Serramonte, which was then part of the FAA Corporation owned by Tom Price. Driven and dedicated, Boris quickly rose to the top, earning the title of Salesperson of the Year and achieving Gold Status with American Honda Motor Company.
Eager for a more dynamic environment, Boris requested a transfer to one of the company's high-volume value stores. With the support of his General Manager at the time, Steve Peacock, Boris moved to Honda of Serramonte, where he climbed the ranks to become Internet Director. His hard work and excellence were again recognized when he was awarded Honda’s prestigious Gold Masters award.
Nearly a decade later, an exciting opportunity came his way—Boris entered into a partnership with Sprint Auto Sales in San Leandro, CA. This venture gave him the head start he needed to launch his own dealership. In 2010, Boris proudly opened Platinum Motors, where he continues to build a business rooted in integrity, passion, and customer care.
Boris takes immense pride in his work and deeply appreciates both his loyal customers and dedicated employees. His commitment to excellence is the foundation of Platinum Motors’ ongoing success.
